I am a big Food Network fan and the Barefoot Contessa Show is one of my favorite shows to watch. When I saw her make this recipe I decided to give it a try. I made some substitutions, instead of the 4 cups of all purpose flour, I used three cups and one cup of whole wheat flour. I used 3/4 cup of oil instead of butter and one cup of low fat milk instead of heavy cream. I love the taste and flavour of these scones and I will definitely make them again.
